Located on Leeman Road, The National Railway Museum allows visitors to enjoy a fully immersive experience. Encounter the feats on engineering on display and marvel at the locomotives on show. The museum features over 1 million objects - some dating back as far as 300 years.

The National Railway is the perfect place for a conference, dinner, Christmas party or any other event that takes your fancy.

Yorkshire hospitality is the order of the day at Pike Hills Golf Club. Situated on Tadcaster Road, Pike Hills Golf Club welcomes parties and societies from Monday through to Friday. Refreshments are available, including teas and coffees, pies and cakes.

If you’re seeking something slightly more formal, Pike Hills has their own catering team (and they come highly recommended). You can request everything from bar snacks to a full sit-down meal for eighty! Private bookings are welcomed - so if you are looking for a venue to host a birthday bash (or something similar), Pike Hills could be the place.

Located in Elvington (close to the city of York), the Yorkshire Air Museum provides a unique setting for your party, and has character by the bucket-load. Situated in the grounds of an authentic World War Two air base (RAF Elvington) the restored buildings have plenty of atmosphere. Corporate get-togethers work well at this venue (there’s plenty of space), but the museum is equally suitable for weddings and other special occasions. The Elvington room and NAAFI restaurant can be combined to provide a versatile space.

Or How About a Traditional Pub, Modern Bar or Hotel?

York has plenty of watering holes to choose from. Gather your friends for an informal drink (or four) at a traditional pub. York has a plethora of historic inns (including the grade II listed Ye Olde Starre Inne, which was first licensed back in 1644).
